transactional law

the "law of the deal," transactional legal issues arise in real estate transfers, contract drafting, wills and trusts, and so on.

anything that needs to be formally memorialized (written down) should be subjected to a lawyer's scrutiny before any signature is committed to it.

the devil is in the details and if you don't anticipate contingencies murphy's law says they'll arise.

don't make the mistake of treading through a quagmire of legalese simply hoping for the outcome you anticipate. make sure you're getting what you think you are and minimize the chance of surprises in the fine print.

if you do this, you reduce your likelihood of ending up in a commercial or domestic dispute.
